We establish emergent rescue systems for aviation accidents, such as Disaster and Safety Management Law, Aviation Law, and ICAO Contract, and we are sustaining the status quo of readiness for deployment and accident notification by receiving accident information from COSPAS-SARSAT and by using the aviation rescue response system. As such, we provide information to search and rescue teams and coordinate and operate search and rescue team personnel and facilities. We also undertake search and rescue accordingly.
- 1. Search and rescue planning within a territory
- 2. Announcing an emergency, and taking action according to the emergency level
- 3. Notifying the regional control headquarters of the affected territory by tracing the aviation flight record
- 4. Coordinating with and supervising the regional control headquarters
- 5. Negotiating with the National Search and Rescue Committee and Aviation Rescue Support Center about search and rescue tasks
- 6. Relation management with the related organizations, such as aviation traffic task institutions
- 7. Making the final decision of whether to stop or restart the search and rescue operations
- 8. Cooperating with the foregoing control headquarters about search and rescue operations We are responsible for personnel rescue by means of helicopters to areas or spots that are impossible to access by ground, rapidly deploying our rescue members to the scene, carrying out firefighting tasks on mountain areas, and undertaking command control, emergency patient and organ transport, etc. Furthermore, we are doing our best to strengthen our air rescue ability by undertaking research on and developing air rescue technologies, and by training our expert rescue members.
